Aluminium skirting
For select S 7000 IQ, S 8000 IQ and lift/slide door profiles, GEALAN offers the possibility of clipping on individually designed aluminium skirts on the exterior side of the window. The result is improved resistance and longevity for the window.
The decisive advantage of the aluminium skirt is in the combination of the coloration methods (painting, eloxating or powder-coating) and the aluminium material. These circumstances grant designers and architects a wide range of possibilities in construction and architectural design.
The window manufacturer no longer has to deal with additional suppliers when assembling windows with aluminium skirting; the colour-neutral aluminium shells can be ordered from GEALAN off-the-shelf. The skirts for the individual window are then painted, eloxated of powder-coated on-site. This allows for the highest possible flexibility in the assembly workflow. The result is that fulfilling small orders of a specific colour are no problem.
Aluminium skirts are available not only for most of the S 7000 IQ and S 8000 IQ window and door programmes, but also for the roll shutter system RAE plus in 155 mm and 195 mm sizes.
