Environmentally friendly and economic
GEALAN recycling profile
When developing high-quality windows and window profiles, there are always leftovers and cuttings. Whether during the adjustment of tools or trimming profile bars, there is always something left over.
When intelligently used, these materials are highly valuable raw materials. We reuse them to make new window profiles of the same quality as those using 100% new ingredients and save resources.
The GEALAN recycling profile consists of a core made out of recycled vinyl, and is mantled in a coating of new PVC.
The recycling profile is made with the same coextrusion system used to create acrylcolor profiles. In this case the recycled material is transported through a heated cylinder by two screws that then press the mass through a die that gives the mass the desired form. At the same time, new PVC is melted onto the outside, creating an unbreakable bond.
