New windows with a nostalgic flair
Attention to details

What makes GEALAN's style windows special is the combination of the meeting stile and the sill nosing. In standard vinyl windows, the meeting stile runs from top to bottom and the sill noses merely abut the stile on both sides. GEALAN's solution is different, in that the sill nosing is designed according to historical traditions and covers the entire width of the window. Where the sashes meet, the cut is beveled 15° and the meeting stile goes into the sill nosing.
Narrow frame heights in all systems
One of the most common criticisms historical preservation boards have against using vinyl windows in historic structures is the bulky impression that the frames made. The GEALAN style window, however, satisfies this demand with no problems. The combination of the narrow sash – with a mere 39 mm visible width in the S 7000 IQ system or 42 mm in the S 8000 IQ system – with the meeting stile widths of 122 mm (S 7000 IQ) or 112 mm (S 8000 IQ) meet the requirements of most historical preservation standards. With the application of compatible trim profiles it is even possible to hide the drainage in the bottom of the frame, so that weep holes and their covers are no longer needed.
