Security
Intruder protection begins in the profile
In
an ever-changing world, the need for safety and security is growing. This especially
applies to one's own home. Protecting your material and immaterial valuables
depends on the protection offered by your doors and windows. With the usage
of modern hardware in our windows, a wide range of security features are added.
Forged steel locking plates and mushroom head cams, along with lockable handles
also add to the security.
Thick-walled profiles also add to the protection of the hardware components. This security aspect is a feature of the S 7000 IQ profile system. The middle seal dam protects the hardware from outside access and thus thwarts attempts to reach the locks with most tools.
For added protection, we recommend the following components for house doors:
- Automatic deadbolts lock as soon as the door is closed, to prevent jimmying of the door.
- With steel locking rails, the standard three striker plates are replaced by a continuous steel rail. This makes it almost impossible to force the door open, even with tools.
- Special lock tumblers are proven effective against all standard break-in attempts, and are easily fitted onto existing doors.
