GEALAN’s International Future forum is back – an established series of events will be held in a new format for the first time ever in 2022: On 2 and 3 June 2022 our experts will be presenting industry trends and new products. Dr Greiner (Munich Strategy) will kick off the programme with a keynote speech on strategies for window construction in exceptional times. In a hybrid format for the first time ever, with presentations on site at GEALAN’s headquarters in Oberkotzau, broadcasted throughout Europe via livestream.
It’s been more than two years since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with it the cancellation of large in-person trade fairs. The fair halls have remained empty, but during this time development at GEALAN did anything but stand still. Now, our experts will present GEALAN’s latest product solutions and important developments in the window construction industry at the International Future Forum 2022.
For the first time, GEALAN is taking the modern split approach: Presentations on site will be complemented with a digital broadcast. The added value of this new, simple availability is obvious: With the International Future Forum in a hybrid format, GEALAN wants to reach all customers and business partners, no matter where they are and how much time they can schedule during this busy season.
The programme is varied, tailored to the target audience of window manufacturers: With a total of four key topics, it will focus on important current issues in the industry and highlight GEALAN’s latest product developments.
The European window market is experiencing challenging times: First Covid-19, then raw material bottlenecks – a changing competitive environment that continues to place new requirements on business models. In his keynote speech, Dr Constantin Greiner, construction industry expert from consultancy firm Munich Strategy, discusses what will become and remains important for window manufacturers: The new normal after 2022 and how window manufacturers in Europe can put themselves in a future-proof position for success.
Eva-Maria Schröder, Head of Marketing Communication at GEALAN, will also explain the results of an exclusive market study and the most important deciding factors of various target groups.
Benefit from important new ideas for developing your business.
New design systems with the highest standards for function: Our product developers present first-hand GEALAN’s new system diversity with a trend towards clear edges: from the economic all-round system to the top-class premium system. For the first time, our product experts will showcase a new system in the 82.5 mm segment with a focus on design, automated window manufacturing and burglary protection. A spotlight will also be placed on a new development in the area of barrier-free threshold solutions.
Another highlight will be GEALAN’s innovative technologies: current methods in the area of bonding and our exclusive surface GEALAN-acrylcolor®, which sets new accents in the metallic area.

These days, sustainability is the key topic and also more relevant than ever in window construction. Charlotte Röber, Managing Director of EPPA, explains the European sustainability policies with regard to PVC profiles, the Green Deal, and what exactly this entails for window manufacturers. GEALAN Head of Research & Development Dr Michel Sieffert will also discuss our various initiatives for sustainable products.
Resource conservation, recycling, transparency – these are all essential to sustainable window construction business.
The future of the window industry is digital. Smart products from GEALAN enable maximum energy efficiency, convenience and a healthy indoor climate. In combination with other components of the new TEXINO automation brand, we will present a wide range of digital product solutions. These allow window manufacturers to incorporate the smart home trend into their window business of the future.
Add to that digital services along the entire value chain: from sales, to planning, to aftersales and maintenance. GEALAN and Digital Building Solutions (DBS) work together to develop a landscape of digital tools and offerings that intertwine, taking window business to a whole new level.
With these core topics, presented in an interesting way and a modern format, GEALAN expands on its successful event series of the Future Forum.
GEALAN Managing Director Ivica Maurović has high expectations for the upcoming event: “With our established event in a new format, we will reach customers and partners all across Europe. We want to discuss the latest developments in the window construction industry and give an overview of the new products and digital solutions from GEALAN – and above all, we look forward to finally seeing everyone once again.
