Anniversary: HÖNING celebrates 20-year partnership with GEALAN

But before the live music begins to play, Peter Schouren explains what the statement is all about. It refers to the profile meters of the system provider GEALAN, which you could walk across the Atlantic with dry feet. Expressed in numbers, these are profiles worth over 55 million euros, which HÖNING GmbH has purchased from GEALAN over the past 20 years. "These are values!" he explains. "But not only values in the sense of numbers, but also values like friendship and continuity, which make for a good partnership."

Ivica Maurović, managing director of GEALAN, also took up the image of these values in his speech when he spoke of the permanent cultivation of a good relationship. In doing so, he is aiming at the process of defining values that are being formulated especially within the GEALAN company and that will naturally also apply to the partnership with the HÖNING company. "A lot has happened in the 20 years," says Ivica Maurović, and explains how the relationship between the two companies has developed. Thus he closes the circle, back to the values of a healthy partnership. After the traditional presentation of the anniversary plaque by Michael Funke, sales manager at GEALAN, the employees of HÖNING GmbH will once again be the focus of the event. The company anniversaries are honoured and the celebration opens in a familiar atmosphere.

At the HÖNING company in Jesewitz, Saxony, more than 70,000 construction elements are produced year after year in a production area that currently measures 7,500 m2. These are also values that do not simply come into being but are the result of a sustainable and well thought-out company strategy, in which, in addition to high-quality products, an enormous amount of energy is invested in service, various service offers, progressive digitalisation, logistics on schedule, environmental protection and, above all, in the well-being of the company's own employees, without losing sight of the actual goal.
