GEALAN-LINEAR®: Narrow GEALAN-LUMAXX® version now available

New profile variants are now available for the modern, linear system all-rounder GEALAN-LINEAR®: The narrow GEALAN-LUMAXX® version enables particularly slim profile views without having to sacrifice ease of use and safety.
Furthermore, the GEALAN-LUMAXX® configuration offers a mono-inverted solution with a face width of only 100 mm. In this way, it can be used to produce mullion windows with a maximum glass surface area and optimal incidence of light.
Specifically, a narrow sash version, a matching mono-slip profile and the corresponding mullion flap strip now complement the existing GEALAN-LINEAR® product range.
Suitable for new construction and renovation
With the GEALAN-LUMAXX® version in the GEALAN-LINEAR® system, the narrowest face widths of up to 102 mm can be implemented in the frame-sash combination. This allows for an elegant and modern look that blends perfectly into contemporary architecture.
GEALAN-LINEAR® is also ideal for renovation projects. Thanks to the low installation depth of 74 mm and the narrow face widths, the profiles can be easily integrated into the existing building fabric. The slim, almost filigree-looking frames of the GEALAN-LUMAXX® variant round off the harmonious overall picture wonderfully when renovating older buildings.
The proven good statics of the GEALAN-LINEAR profiles® enable window manufacturers to safely implement large elements in the GEALAN-LUMAXX® versions.
More about the GEALAN-LUMAXX® profile variant:
Optimized geometries:
During the development of GEALAN-LUMAXX®, the entire frame geometry was optimised by compressing the profile widths to a minimum. The designers paid attention to a balanced ratio of thermal insulation properties and statics as well as to a perfect interaction of the fitting parts. The symmetrical effect of the slender mono skirt also contributes to its flexible use in window construction.
Visibly fewer frames:
The slim profile variant GEALAN-LUMAXX® is significantly narrower than conventional frame combinations. In the past, mullion or post constructions often took up to 150 mm and more in width. Unsightly, massive beams destroyed the window silhouette and let much less light into the room. With profiles in the GEALAN-LUMAXX® version, on the other hand, slim views can be achieved without having to sacrifice ease of use and safety.
