Best BIM solution in Germany's construction industry: GEALAN wins gold again at ARCHITECTS ́ DARLING® 2025

And gold again for GEALAN! In the category "Best BIM Data Offer", the sophisticated and continuously developed solution of the plastic system provider has once again been the most convincing at the ARCHITECTS ́ DARLING Award® 2025. After three first places in the same category in 2020-2022 and a silver award last year, the jury of architects and planners is now once again crowning GEALAN. The repeated top ranking confirms GEALAN's pioneering role in digital planning. Heinze had searched for the best services, products and services nationwide for the 15th time as part of the Celle working days. All companies in the construction industry throughout Germany were able to apply.

GEALAN solution: Everything thought of  

What exactly are the advantages of the GEALAN solution? When it comes to the visual 3D modelling of windows and doors in buildings, GEALAN has an absolutely coherent overall package to offer.   

With GEALAN's BIM offering, a realistic simulation with current products in various detail levels is possible. On the one hand, predefined window and door elements of any type and shape are available, but as a real highlight they can also be freely planned. Here, the number of configuration options is almost infinite: This means that almost any window or door element can be implemented with the GEALAN data with the "free construction" option, including round windows, for example.  

The external view of the buildings can also be displayed using GEALAN software, including the simulated windows and doors. In addition, the data of the 3D models has been optimized in size to ensure smooth applications at all times.   

On top of that, the project structure was integrated into the planning software 3.0, as part of GEALAN's BIM solution. This greatly facilitates the exchange of information and geometric data among the participants. This holistic concept is embedded in a modern user interface: The planning and construction are simple, intuitive and can be implemented with even fewer clicks.    

Another innovation and real added value for many users: specifications from the planner software 3.0 can be transferred directly to the new GEALAN tendering platform Tendoo. This eliminates the double effort involved in maintaining the data.  

To ensure that there is no surprise in the end after all the numerous possibilities: With the GEALAN solution, the technical feasibility of the desired project can be checked in advance, thus ensuring even more certainty in tenders.  

Another advantage in daily work: To ensure that users do not have to leave their usual platform, the GEALAN solution can also be used via plug-in and add-on. With the Planner Software 3.0, architects and builders can generate window and door types from GEALAN profile systems in BIM format according to their wishes and use them via a Revit plug-in or an Archicad add-on. This is now also possible for macOS users who use Archicad on their Apple devices.
