Voluntary commitment rewarded: #GEALANTeamSupport winners for 2026 announced

GEALAN once again shows its support for regional initiatives: For the sixth consecutive year, five associations can look forward to a €1,000 grant each for their chosen projects.
Clubs and their work, which is carried out mainly on a voluntary basis, are the proverbial glue that holds society together. The number of registered clubs in Germany is higher than ever: More than 30 million people are involved in over 600,000 registered clubs.
GEALAN is very aware of the importance of voluntary involvement, especially in times like these. That is why, with the #GEALANTeamSupport campaign, it has been supporting clubs based around GEALAN's two German locations every year since 2021.
In September, passion projects were presented for the sixth year in a row on GEALAN's Facebook and Instagram pages, where they could apply for financial support. From all the clubs and projects that met the criteria and collected enough likes, the five winners for 2026 were ultimately drawn. They can now look forward to €1000 each to support their club activities.
The #GEALANTeamSupport 2026 winners are:
- VfB Helmbrechts 98 e.V.
- Frankenwaldverein e.V. (Viceburg Frankenwald)
- LSV 49 Oettersdorf e.V. Frauen
- SG Döbraberg / Geroldsgrün e.V.
- SG Geschwister Scholl Unterkoskau e.V.
