A mountain range in the Franconian Forest is the setting for a detached home offering a high quality of living designed by the architectural practice Köhler Ingenieurbüro based in Bad Steben. The two-storey building is dominated by a south-facing glass front with parallel slide-and-turn windows.

The client's brief included sunny rooms flooded by light, high anti-burglary protection and an outer façade with window elements in a contrasting colour. The architect met the brief with windows with sashes and triple anti-burglary glass secured using GEALAN's STV® bonding technology.
