Warm wine red: this colour is an integral part of the appearance of the SANTAROS KLINIKOS University Hospital in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. The distinctive, dark red adorns the logo, website and façade – and of course the window profiles had to bear exactly this colour.
In 1999, the university hospital received vinyl windows of the GEALAN S 3000 system in GEALAN-acrylcolor® Bordeaux violet – a total of over 2,000 windows with an impressive surface area of 9,000 square metres. SANTAROS KLINIKOS is one of the largest and most important medical institutions in Lithuania; more than 1,200 doctors and over 5,000 employees work and do research here.
As a building, the clinic shows wonderfully what the use of a signature colour can achieve: the dark, velvety wine red visually connects all the buildings and gives the entire complex an accent and unmistakable character.
FEG Naila Administration Building
No half measures: when the original location of the electrical and energy technology group FEG in Naila in Upper Franconia became too small and FEG was planning new buildings, it was clear: the new buildings should not only facilitate growth, but also represent the company’s calling card.
EVERGREEN TOWERS, Jud Iasi / Romania
Evergreen with a green accent: the Evergreen Towers in the northern Romanian university city of Iași are a truly large-scale project: eight residential blocks, each with twelve floors, a total of 510 residential units – from studios to 3-room apartments with balconies – where over one thousand people will live.
Modern residential complex in Pforzheim with GEALAN windows
Golden Residential Complex: Pforzheim is famous as the city of gold – 75 percent of German jewellery comes from here. The location of the Belfort Suites is also golden – a former railway site in the middle of the city centre was developed for residential use.
Offshore drillers' dormitory in the harbor of the North Sea island of Borkum
On the waterfront: the Offshore Workers Residential Complex in the harbour of the North Sea island of Borkum realises a new living concept. The complex with more than one hundred apartments is perfectly tailored to its residents: service workers from offshore wind farms.
