GEALAN Premium Sponsor of the 2021 Annual VFF Conference
On 23 and 24 September the industry will be looking to Berlin, where the VFF window and facade association will be hosting its 2021 annual conference. This industry meetup considers itself a large networking event, with a spotlight on personal interaction. The contents will focus on digital solutions for manufacturers, planners and users. But the topics of sustainability and climate protection will also be high up on the agenda of the two-day event. These future topics also play a major role for GEALAN, predestining the plastics system provider as a sponsor.
The industry is coming together again: On the fourth Thursday and Friday of September, the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin city centre will host the annual conference of the VFF window and facade association. GEALAN will attend the event on 23 and 24 September as one of two premium sponsors.
In 2021 the contents will have two main focuses: on the one hand, the digitalisation of the industry and on the other, the opportunities and challenges presented by environmentally friendly working and business. “Looking to the future with innovative digital solutions, but also being efficient, conserving resources, nature and its raw materials, these are also two prominent future topics for GEALAN,” says Ivica Maurović, speaking on behalf of GEALAN executive management, “and so we see ourselves as the perfect partner for this event.” GEALAN solutions for digitalising windows and facades, such as GEALAN-CAIRE® smart – a smart home-capable active ventilation system (-> link) – or the 2020 ARCHITECTS´ DARLING® award for GEALAN’s BIM data offering (-> link) reinforce this claim. There’s also the complete supply of German locations with renewable energy (-> link) or the recently procured new recycling plant at the Tanna site.
More than 200 guests are expected at the 2021 annual conference. Besides presentations and podium discussions, they can also look forward to the “Digital solutions for efficiency, security and comfort” trade show, highlighting the current industry trends. GEALAN will also have a stand to present its sophisticated digital window solutions.
In addition to practical presentations, for example on artificial intelligence in production, the annual VFF conference will also think outside the box: On the first day of the conference, Sascha Lobo, popular columnist, digital expert and blogger, will offer a first personal summary of future viability, taking to the stage with his presentation called “The current status of digitalisation”. On Friday, meteorologist Sven Plöger will discuss the issue of “Climate protection – can we still save ourselves?”, encouraging reflection and discussion.
