Proud Number: 21 Young People Begin Apprenticeship at GEALAN

GEALAN welcomes 16 young people to the production and logistics site in Tanna at the start of training in 2026; for five further trainees, professional life begins at the headquarters of the PVC system supplier in Oberkotzau. The new GEALAN recruits are to be equipped not only with the skills for their future profession in the coming years but also to learn for life during their training.
In recent days, 21 young people started their training at GEALAN. Sixteen of them began their professional careers in August at the production and logistics site in Tanna, Thuringia. Five other new trainees had their first working day on September 1 at the company headquarters in Oberkotzau.
"We support the young people not only in their professional progress," promises Steffen Mühlmeier, "but also help them settle into this new phase of life and with their personal development."
The professions chosen by the new GEALANis at the Tanna site are very diverse. These new arrivals were welcomed by training manager Steffen Mühlmeier, trainers Peter Reuter and Dirk Mann, as well as managing director Tino Albert at the production and logistics site:
Dustin Schilling, Florian Zapf, Gerome Mauer, Kilian Reinhardt (all training as warehouse specialists), Elvisa Cejanovic, Mea Kluge (both warehouse specialists), Jannek Härtel, Jason Küfner, Lenny Küfner, Lenny Franz, Nico Gemeinhardt (all machine and plant operators), Jason Rothe, Noah Petzoldt (both industrial mechanics), Moritz Pätz (electronic technician for operational technology), Lenny Pfort (PVC and rubber technologist), and Max Ohm (warehouse logistics specialist).
At the Oberkotzau site, as of September, Magnus Friedrich Müller, Mahmod Al Ali (both training as tool mechanics), Hasret Nur Baspinar, Paula Karoline Büttner (both learning the profession of industrial clerk), and Janek Lenk (prospective IT specialist) have started their new life phase.
"We are very proud to be able to train such a large number of young people again. This is unfortunately no longer standard at other companies, some of which have completely stopped their training," says Steffen Mühlmeier about the continued excellent opportunities at GEALAN.
