The Schutse in Uithoorn in the Netherlands is a living church. Here, people find inspiration, peace and comfort, meet for lectures and courses, discuss society, faith and the Bible, drink coffee together and celebrate festivals.
The church building, built in 1966, has been renovated and is now state-of-the-art - thanks in part to the GEALAN System S 9000 NL windows. Their outside is finished in basalt grey (RAL 7012) with wood grain, the inside in cream (RAL 9001). The striking pointed shape of the church building was a challenge when measuring, producing and installing the window elements, which was mastered with bravura.
The 3 metre high, paired elements are top-class craftsmanship. Together with solar panels and modern insulation, the Schutse is also top class in energy terms - and future-proof.
Living near Leipzig, but in the countryside? You can do that in this house in Zwenkau. It is located just 15 kilometres south of the booming Saxon metropolis and directly on Zwenkauer See.
Located in the centre of the Tyrolean capital is the Hotel Ramada Innsbruck Tivoli, which opened in December 2011. The building looks out over a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains and the world-famous Bergisel ski jump.
Oradea is located in the north-west of Romania and is the economic and transport hub of the Bihor region with a population of 180,000. Grand Hill is located in the immediate vicinity of a shopping centre and a park - a modern residential building with 66 flats on 8 floors, balconies, an underground car park and commercial space on the ground floor.
A cruise ship on land - the association is no coincidence with Scheveningen's new eye-catcher: Het Boegbeeld, which means ‘the figurehead’, is an apartment complex with 121 flats on six floors directly on Scheveningen harbour, which plays with elements of ship architecture in its appearance.
