The first BAU trade fair after four years of absence due to Covid was a successful return to Munich for GEALAN: Numerous customers and partners from all over Europe, as well as many interested international visitors, ensured that the GEALAN booth was well attended throughout.
GEALAN managing director Ivica Maurović was very satisfied with the BAU 2023 week and his company's presence at the trade fair: "The focus is always on personal conversations. Many thanks to all colleagues and our customers and partners - you have all once again made BAU 2023 a valuable event for all of us!"
During the six days of the trade fair, the GEALAN booth was not only a meeting point for good conversations and the opportunity to network, but also offered an exciting excerpt of the GEALAN portfolio to touch. The common thread of the trade fair presentation was the modern design of the straight-lined, angular PVC profile systems GEALAN-KONTUR® and GEALAN-LINEAR®. Alongside them, strikingly stylish windows and sliding doors from the GEALAN systems S 9000 and GEALAN-KUBUS® showed the sophisticated solutions GEALAN makes possible in trendy colours. A real visitor magnet was also the GEALAN Hafen-City-Fenster® - an extraordinary solution for noisy environments that doesn't come off the shelf. The countless possibilities for convenient digital control of windows, doors and ventilation with TEXINO also awakened the playful instincts of many visitors at the GEALAN booth. Architects and planners from all over Europe were visibly amazed to have the possibilities of the award-winning GEALAN BIM solution explained to them.
After the BAU opening on Monday was somewhat quieter, by Tuesday at the latest there was noticeably more activity in the halls: From the opening of the stands at 9:30 a.m. until the closing bell at 6:00 p.m., there were visibly many trade visitors at the GEALAN booth for the rest of the week. A total of around 190,000 visitors came to the Munich Trade Fair Centre between 17 and 22 April to find out about the innovations and trends of the 2,260 exhibitors from 49 countries, as the trade fair management officially confirmed the large number of visitors at the return of BAU.

On 1 July, it was exactly 10 years since VEKA AG from Sendenhorst, one of the leading manufacturers of PVC profile systems for windows and doors, took over 100% of the shares in the system house GEALAN Fenster-Systeme GmbH, headquartered in Oberkotzau, Upper Franconia.
A good two years have passed since the ground-breaking ceremony at GEALAN's Tanna site – now the new fully automated high-bay warehouse has been officially inaugurated in the presence of numerous high-profile guests. In the meantime, the 16-million-euro new building has already been put into operation.
With a lead programme and showroom design, GEALAN will provide window manufacturers and dealers with even better support in their day-to-day business in the future. Suitable GEALAN furniture and planning services for the in-house showroom are already available. When registering for the GEALAN lead programme, retailers and manufacturers will receive targeted enquiries from private customers from this summer.
