SALEWA Headquarters – a new landmark in the city of Bolzano

With a height of almost 50 m and a construction volume of 350,000 m3, the headquarters of the SALEWA mountain sports brand, completed in 2011, are a new landmark in the city of Bolzano. Designed by Milanese architects Cino Zucchi and Park Associati, the building reconciles the seeming contradiction between the pursuit of progress and innovation and promoting a relationship with Nature and environmental protection.

Different volumes with different lines, large window fronts and an innovative, electro-coloured aluminium skin give the building the appearance of a rock crystal. The SALEWA Headquarters are a geographical reference point in the South Tyrolean capital and blend harmoniously into the landscape with its surrounding mountains.
