The green Hamburg district of Lurup is home to an impressive building for 96 Hamburg senior citizens who want to spent their retirement in a stimulating, sheltered community. The care concept of residential communities developed with TABEA is one of the most progressive and newest concepts in geriatric care.

The building project is a fully in-patient care facility including separate day centre with therapeutic options and consists of a three-storey building with large glass doors and window elements divided by glazing bars on the main façade. The structure of the profiles and the RAL 9010 colour emphasise the imposing yet homely character of the gleaming white plastered building.

The development objective for this system with rebate gaskets and an installation depth of 74 mm was to create a cost-effective profile with optimum use of materials, for easier and more efficient fabrication by window manufacturers.

SALEWA Headquarters – a new landmark in the city of Bolzano

With a height of almost 50 m and a construction volume of 350,000 m3, the headquarters of the SALEWA mountain sports brand, completed in 2011, are a new landmark in the city of Bolzano. Designed by Milanese architects Cino Zucchi and Park Associati, the building reconciles the seeming contradiction between the pursuit of progress and innovation and promoting a relationship with Nature and environmental protection.
